Chester, Rufus,
Lady, Honey, Zaphar and Zara
have all
participated at Crufts Dog Show during the past
seven years and
we have enjoyed immensely the excitement of the day and the thrill of
watching our much loved Beagles strutting-their-stuff and
performing their best for us in the world-famous competition held at
the NEC in Birmingham each March. The competition is very tough
of course with the best dogs and bitches from all over the world in
attendance. There is no quarter taken here either as the stakes
are extremely high with the top breeders all seeking supremacy in the
ring and the tension is clear for all to see as each class takes to
the ring, is judged against the standard and then completes leaving
the competitors either highly elated or down in the mouth -
challenging stuff this dog showing business you know !
Crufts
Dog Show 2010
saw Zaphar, Zara and Honey representing
the TRIECAP BEAGLES. They delighted the
spectators with their stylish performance ~ boasting stunning good
looks complemented by excellent drive and movement they each traversed
the show ring in the striking fashion that has continued to fuel their
show successes in the UK Beagle arena ~ however at this event they
were collectively unrewarded.
In
2009, Zaphar and Honey represented
the TRIECAP BEAGLES with Honey being observed by the audience gliding
effortlessly around the ring with the drive and elegance that is
admired by many. Honey performed to her usual very
high standard and many fellow Beaglers later congratulated Patrice on
an excellent performance that had resulted in
Honey being placed 2nd in Post Graduate Bitch by
the judge Linda Hawley. Earlier in the day, we had been absolutely
delighted when our 9 month old puppy dog Prince Zaphar charmed
the audience in delivering a wonderfully powerful and charismatic
demonstration of his drive and enthusiasm in the show ring which
had resulted in him being placed Reserve in Special Puppy Dog. It
was a real thrill for the TRIECAP BEAGLES kennel to watch him
move effortlessly around the large green carpet ~ a beautiful soft
facial expression and a muscular conformation moving at pace ~ simply poetry
in motion.
