Patrice developed her love for Beagles starting in the 1960s resulting from her family's interest in the breed and a special fondness for her favourite hound Argentius Trigo.  You will probably have observed that our UK Kennel Club Affix TRIECAP is an anagram of Patrice.  Together we maintain a fervent passion for Beagles and our undeflected objective during the coming decades is to continue being  famous for breeding and showing quality Beagles.  We will achieve this whilst also demonstrating our well-known commitment to integrity and goodwill in full measure and by enjoying the friendly company and healthy rivalry maintained between fellow Beaglers and our other friends in the dog world.  We continue to be captivated by the UK Beagle culture, charm, camaraderie and the ongoing debate and diversity of opinion as to what constitutes a winning show hound, especially as the breed standard is quite specific in these matters.  On Championship Show days how we all yearn for that element of surprise and elation when our own beloved hound is chosen, seemingly against all our previous expectations held of the specific event - that's the encouragement that inspires us all to continue resolutely with our showing campaigns.
